The Art Department at Long Beach City College is one of the largest art departments in the California Community College system, and as such, is dedicated to providing students with the finest, most comprehensive introduction to the arts possible. Toward that end, we have brought together a strong corps of professional artists and educators, dedicated to developing a comprehensive foundation for students to explore their innate creativity.

LBCC Gallery Exhibitions "Phyllis Green 'Out Of This World' & Is This Real Life?" will open Tuesday November 17 and run through December 17 with an opening reception on November 17th from 7pm–8:30pm. Is this Real Life features the works of Lisa Bloomfield, Karen Carson, Rachel Mason, Micol Hebron, Karen Koblitz, Blue McRight, M.A. Peers, Mery Lynn McCorkle, & Felis Stella.

LBCC Photo Club Exhibition "From Within" Juried by Jason Landry and curated by Brian Doan will be running from November 4 through November 28 at the OMC Gallery for Contemporary Art, 7561 Center Ave. #32, Huntington Beach.
