The award-winning Graphic Design program at Long Beach City College encompasses courses in both graphic design and computer graphics. Students are encouraged to explore the relationships between words and images as they interact in print, film, and electronic media. In this site we have included the work of a number of outstanding student designers as well as other information pertinent to the program. Graphic design and computer art are under the direction of Larry White. Courses in graphic design include; Art 44ad Graphic Design Tools & Techniques, Art 55ad Introduction to Graphic Design, Art 45ad Computer Art for Drawing and Painting and, Art 56ab Introduction to Typography.
